true enough, but a reputable broker would not let you short, or play with options unless you have both the equity..and the experience. bottom line you got $60k worth of eggs, you must have other equities, tbills, funds in the bank to leverage against, and as far as eggs not being able to short.. there is little interest left.. but i suspect that new shorts above $12 are rapidly gaing momentum. taxi btw you left out the options of time diagonals and alternate strike price buys to become covered against...when you knew what i wuz gonna say taxi
