Classic Series Adds Two Players to Inaugural Event

PHOENIX, March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Classic Golf Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: CSGC - news) is pleased to announce that Charlie Sifford will team with Tommy Bolt and Dow Finsterwald will team with Bob Rosburg at the inaugural Classic on March 30, 1998 at Superstition Mountain.

Sifford's career record includes victories at the 1967 Greater Hartford Open and the 1969 Los Angeles Open. On the Senior Tour, he was the 1975 PGA Seniors' Champion and has earned nearly one million dollars. His pioneering efforts are now being recognized by many, including Tiger Woods and the Nissan Open, where just two weeks ago he was this year's Honoree.

Finsterwald's career record of 12 PGA Tour victories includes the 1958 PGA Championship. While his PGA Tour record is impressive, his Ryder Cup history is extraordinary. He played for the 1957, 1959, 1961, and 1963 United States teams, as well as captaining the victorious 1977 team.

David Marr, III, CEO of Classic Golf Corp., stated, ''Charlie and Dow's presence at our inaugural event will certainly add to the excitement. Besides their outstanding records, they have done so much for the game off the course. It will be our great pleasure to have them playing in the Classic.''

Finsterwald added, ''I knew Dave Marr for many years. He was a great friend and a terrific person. I look forward to playing in the Classic and helping the Dave Marr Foundation.''

The company is also pleased to announce that a new trading symbol has been established that better reflects the new company name. Classic Golf Corp. now trades under CSGC.
