I notice people talking about how CPQ stock will not go up because of flat earnings which will stay flat as the price war starts heating up.

It always seemed the other way around to me. When there is a price war people bet like mad on who they think the winner will be - especially if there are not that many key players. When the derby is over you don't want to be holding a lousing ticket.

Another reason for CPQ appreciation is the enormous amount of savings that can come from cutting fat in the merger. Why is no one speaking about that? Oh, wait a minute - I know - they are experts. We gotta wait until after the event to get the expert reports.
