People's Choice says Nasdaq to delist shrs Wednesday March 11, 3:04 pm Eastern Time SHELTON, Conn., March 11 (Reuters) - People's Choice TV Corp said on Wednesday that the Nasdaq Stock Market has informed the company that its common stock is planned for delistment from its SmallCap market on March 16 because it no longer meets listing requirements. In a statement, the wireless communications company said the stock market informed it the common shares are no longer in compliance with its market capitalization maintenance standard. People's Choice, also known as PCTV, said that it has submitted a hearing request to Nasdaq asking for a temporary exception to the standard and hopes this will stop the delistment from taking place. The company warned investors that a delistment could result in a drop in the trading market for the common stock and lead to a drop in the stock's price.
