FOLLOW-UP post - The STATE OF WASHINGTON, Department of Transportation

What is interesting about this message:

'...will issue Request for Qualifications and Quotations, RFQQ 98-0320, on or about Thursday, March 12, 1998.'

'Proposals will be due by or before 4:00 p.m., local time, on March 26, 1998,....

'Winning Vendor(s)/Project Managers must be available to
start work as early as April 8, 1998''

So not much time for any lengthy and supplier-wrenching negotiations, I guess

John
