>>> I believe a 20% gem quality would be sufficient to produce an economic mine. I did hear higher numbers floating around at the PDAC, but as you say, 8 carats is too small a sample. If those numbers are maintained in a bigger sample-WOW! Michael Schaefer says the Alberta Diamond Play will reach its peak in April, John Kaiser says it will be September. If K-91 40 ton sample results come out in a month and K-14 500 ton comes out in late summer, would it be too much to assume we have some excellent sample results ahead of us?<g> <<<
First, I like to welcome you onboard! I have heard hig numbers back as early as Nov/97, i was able to confirm those numbers this week. Of course I would not publish what I have been told. For the benefit of all readers, the quality floating around on that small 8 carats is real high. I expect fresh Ashton news coming out throughout the next nine months, starting with micro/macro analysis on new discovered pipes, K91 results and k14 500t results. The market is shaking out impatient traders. I see this as an excellent opportunity. Go ahead everybody keep selling.. When Dec 98 comes around, most people will be hitting themselves for not accumulating at these prices of under $5.00. This current price will become history for good. You read it here!! regards Frank
