I went back to Montgomery's report on Micron and looked at the numbers again. The worry I have, since I am short, is the loss plus the one time gain, fully diluted does not look bad. My fear the market will shrug off the current qtr and look forward 9 months out.
Heres my numbers I have from this report:
Revenue = 902M
Depr = 146.3
Cost of Sales = 584.3
Gross Profit= 171.4

R&D = 72.2
Sales,G&A = 137.6
Operating Exp = 209.7

Operating Inc = (38.3)
Int. &other Inc.= 0
One-time Gain = 0 20M
Pretax Inc = (38.3) (18.3)
Prov. for Taxes = 0
Net Income = (38.3) (18.3)
Minority int = 0
Net Inc to common= (38.3) (18.3)
Earnings per Share
fully diluted =($.18) ($.085)
Shares O/S
Fully Diluted = 215.9M
---------------------------------------------
What is bothering me, with the one time gain included would make the net loss for the quarter only (.085). This looks much better than
without the one time gain.
The sale of some custom manuf related from the Micron Electronics Side of the company. So I dont think it would come off this earnings report. If someone could comment on how this would be handled, it
could impact how the earnings report would be presented, and thus
the stock could go up.
Appreciate feedback
