They're not obligated to dispose.

However, if they choose to do so, the approval they must receive for their diversification plan strongly discourages trading based on inside info. The small amount suggests that he is probably selling dribs and drabs constantly.

I also prefer companies like Microsoft and Dell where the CEO is the founder and keeps his stock, but some people insist on diversifying.
