Ann. I just listened to M. Holland and he said he prefers a Merck to a PFE at this time. He said Merck is cheaper and has a great pipeline. Generally a stock will go up just as much before an announcement than after. If you intend to buy a stock there is no reason to wait for a split and miss the increase when it is announced. If you buy 50 shares before a split you will have 100 or 150 shares after the split, depending if it is a 2:1 or 3:1.

He also said it is a good time to buy CPQ and Intel. It has been proven over times that you will do well when you buy after a big drop. Sounds great, doesn't it? Of course we are not sure where the bottom is but it should not be too far off.

ADIC was up nicely today and I have not checked if it got hit again at the end. They had a nice article out on it. I was of course talking about that stock and then noticed it went up. Maybe we should talk about it again. gg.
