before the jolt.


Yes, about right. In '89 nothing before first sharp jolt, there it
was on the second. Enough time between jolts to scramble out the
door to my apartment seeking the open of the parking lot. Only
damage was overturned lamp, pictures dropped off wall, slight damage
to carport roof and an overturned beer on living room rug. On the
other hand, 50 miles to the north there was this Bay Bridge......
