Brian, That is really silly stuff. If business is so strong for everyone else, show me the earnings. -g- Even major sharp pencil operators like Compaq and Gateway are not showing any growth, and, in some cases, no eps at all.
I also laugh about the idea of old inventory. CPQ's stuff is not that old. Nothing new has come out lately, so what's the big deal about a seven day turn or a 14 day turn. The products all look alike, and, more importantly, perform alike.
Oh, well, when your stock is as overpriced as Dell's, I guess they have to say something. MB |
