BB,

Are you serious about this?

"When I made my $40 high projection for year end '99 it was with
the caveat that the stock would split prior to year end.
The implications of that are the stock would achieve $80+ as
a high for the year, but by year end, after the split and the
typical round of profit taking the $ price would be $40 (split
adjusted).<VBG>"

It is the VBG at the end that is throwing me off. I mean,VBG, if I were to suggest,VBG, that AMAT would see the 20's again, which I do believe,VBG,but then rebound late this year to the low 50's, VBG, before going to the 80+ range in 1999, VBG, what would you think, VBG?

Probably that I smile too much.
