I just returned from the BT Alex Brown Communications Technology Summit in New York. This was an AWESOME group of companies discussing developments and projections in the Telecommunications Sector..including everything from Fiber, Wireless, Wide Area, Local Area, Local Loop, Telco cloud, etc. There were probably 30 or 40 companies present, including UUNet(Worldcom), Lucent, Bell Atlantic, Pairgain, Level 3 (private), Bay Networks, Qwest, Newbridge, Natural Microsystems, Intermedia Communications, and many private co's too. John Sidgemore said that Bandwidth demand based on subscriber growth on the Net is growing over 1000% per year! One thing is clear from attending this seminar....IP Networks are COMING...and FASTER than anybody believes. "Voice over IP" is THE hot topic in Communications...actually it has been for some time...but you don't realize it until you hear these Technology officers talk about it, and the importance it represents to them as they develop their various business models. PSIX probaby has THE BEST IP Backbone for IP Telephony there is...This company is like a DIAMOND in the rough at these prices. Bigger players are going to want to get into position to get in front of IP Networks, and PSIX is a quantum leap ahead of any other independent ISP...which represents the only unregulated access to the local loop..it's simply the best game in town. We are sitting on a Goldmine here, folks. By the way, this thing is under HEAVY accumulation right now...but I see you've already figured that out....HANG ON!!....Tek |
