You may remember in an earlier post, that I thought an announcement by TFS would be made on new business, contract, order, etc. Although I had nor have any contact or inside information on TFS, it was my understanding from tv or reading about MOTO at that time they they had made some public statements about dramatic increases in the digital side of the cell phone business from q4. In fact, as I remember the statement it was along the lines of 'we have seen significant sales in q4 of our newer cell lines and expect that to continue to be very brisk in this quarter'. The date on my notes is 2/4. From that I deduced an upside for TFS that has never been confirmed. Hence, my thought for another + surprise in earnings. With this company it is difficult, because they are small have a core nucleus of managers that are not publicity minded and are ultra conservative as well. Time will tell.
As for your other question. If we are seeing any effects from El Nino in weather they are positive. The big island is having drought and all others are beautiful,sunny, 82 degrees with light breeze. The only thing negative at this time is the lack of visitors, as we are feeling the Asia effects more than most. Please send me a private message or e-mail if you are coming so I can set you up with a few activities, attractions, etc. Would be pleased to help - perhaps even a trip on the Voyager sub or dinner cruise.
