I take it to mean that even with significantly reduced spending on capital equipment which will hurt the rest of the stocks in the eqip sector, you believe Cymer will still deliver good earnings because the chipmakers will be buying DUV equipped Steppers. I can buy that. I agree that Cymer will be one of the few companies in the sector to do well during the equip spending downturn. What I'm wondering is if the sector gets panned by The Street can Cymer's stock price still rally even with its good earnings. The Stock of thriving good company's often suffer when the sector they're in goes into a downtrend. I can't argue with you at all about the viability and success of DUV. I agree one hundred percent. Do you see where my questions is really aiming though?
