I disagree. Personally, I would've enjoyed myself much more, if this world was without evil. I would still have my free will. I don't need to see a child being murdered in order to enable me to have free will.
If this world was completely devoid of evil, I would still have free will.
But, God chose to create men of decency and of indecency. We will never understand why, but, we can still appreciate the wonder and beauty of His creation.
It is up to decent men to mold this world into a decent world. That is our challenge. That is our mandate from God!
Mankind has done wonders, so far, but, I am sure that you will agree, we have a long, long way to go!
