Thanks for your thoughts, I am really in a learning mode as far as the technical end of trading stocks are concerned and I tend to jump in first and then learn to swim quick. So my technical knowledge will be wanting but my ideas and spirit run high.
I'm at home at the moment and my trading records are in the office, so I can only add a few stocks I've done (from memory) and add more later. I am sure you are aware of most. Like I said before, I've seen both your names on various threads.
The Oct. crash about did me in because I was so green but I watch it like a hawk now. I like being in and out ASAP but following the stocks I just leave, I find that they continue on to wonderful highs without me and all I had to do was wait (blessed hind sight). So now I look at stocks with a view of a week to a month. You may look to the year or so but I have to turn them over a little faster at this time. I'll be 'long' later.
A few that have done good for me: EGRP, USWB, ORCL, CYMI, SEEK, Intuit, TDFX, and others. Presently holding CKFR, EQNX and DISH (if they launch soon, it was postponed).
I look for daily volume over 500,000 (if possible) and high volatility. Also look for good history, products, PE etc. I'm used to using E-Trade's setup and never had any trouble, except what I created, so I'm continuing as is.
Thats about it for now. Share later. Take care, Roger |
