Reg apparently the volume was caused by the infamous shorters we have been hearing about. According to Jim Griffin & Noreen Wilson a large part of the shares in the Jan 8th S1 have been shorted. The strange part is that I was told that they have to cover their shorts with in 45 day's? this gives them about 2-3 weeks to do so. If this isn't done in this time frame they will have to buy the shares on the open market. This would account for the strange spreads on the bid & ask today. If they are unsuccessful in driving down the share price your guess is as good as mine as to where the share price will go. This forced short covering does sound sort of strange though? I will give the S1 another read.
