Uh-huh... Oh, yeah... No pissing...
Yupper, I am in complete accord with YOUR ANALYSIS (now, say those last two words aloud to enjoy the hidden prize.) I've just ducked in here after taking a gander at the Yahoo SEEK thread... which seems to be rapidly unraveling. I used to really like that place. Oh well...
Want back in the SEEK game. Tried half-heartedly on Monday. Will try a little harder on the morrow. Have gotten my little channel-sponsorship rumor CONFIRMED. But, won't cover the details again for fear of rousing the churlish one, i.e., the poster boy. It is a combo deal, involving both revenue sharing and paid banner advertising. But, IT IS A RUMOR until it happens. And if it doesn't happen please feel to refer to me as A RUMOR-MONGER.
Was ANYONE really, really surprised that SEEK took a few gasps here after such a sweet run-up? Further, I recall from some Yahoo post that SPO institutional investors had to agree to hold for at least 30 days... wonder if that's standard industry practice. Please enlighten me.
The market? I wonder. But, I'll keep those ruminations on the thread where nobody can find me.
Oh, and one more OT thing. Credibility simply accrues with time. You can't just get it or grab it or yell it. I'm not addressing any one party here, but I am addressing a kind of tiresome trend on many threads. Isn't it a little wearying, the I-told-you-so's? If you did tell me--and I read it-- believe you me, I got it. And I've payed more attention to your subsequent posts. But, if you told me at the top of your virtual lungs or with enough vituperation to fuel a fist-fest on Jerry Springer, I probably forgot it... in a minute. Credibility simply, elegantly accrues. Like interest compounding.
Bst Regards To All SEEK share and stakeholders,
c m
