Norm, Re: "I emphatically feel that the CEOs of these two companies need to make some kind of statement to their investors NOW! Please!"

I'll briefly summarize from my P* statements - A public Company should NOT be making statements about ongoing contract negotiations, day by day, or even week by week. These are INTERNAL MATTERS and are not the sort of thing to announce. How could they still NEGOTIATE if after a meeting Joe put out his thoughts and Frank issued his?

As in 99% of all public companies they should, IMO, issue an announcement after it is signed and if it is material, or substantially different from a prior agreement.

In this case I am sure the Companies will isse a joint release due to all the meddling by shareholders taking up management's valuable time, and I might add, distracting them undoubedly from the business operations that I'd rather they'd attend to instead of talking to shareholders who call about this contract negotiation.

Just my spin on things.... Colin
