James: Reconsider the puts on AOL. Today's news on the MCI/Worldcom merger reveals:
<<. Earlier, the two companies proposed a 17-member slate to
serve as the board of directors once the merger closes.
The proposed board consists of 11 outside members,
including eight named by WorldCom and three named by MCI, as
well as six officers of the companies.
The slate includes executives currently on the companies'
boards, executives from companies previously acquired by
WorldCom, as well as Internet industry figure Stephen Case,
chairman of America Online Inc.(NYSE:AOL)>>

I don't like the sound of that...sounds and smells like burning shorts.
