Ed, honestly, I can't give you a business answer to your question but I think it's common sense that it's difficult to change course in mid-stream or it's hard to teach a dog new tricks, etc. I can only say that it's a gut feeling. I'm a trader with some long term objectives in some stocks. Ask an MBA why it's difficult to change course; I'm sure there are some out there who can list the reasons point by point. dulane
