Brian,option sellers make money,option buyers generally lose.Selling out of the money calls monthly against your stock will give you a fixed monthly income and you get to get the stock appreciation.Options are great for hedging or protection also.They will benefit you if used wisely but buying them is too much grief and sweat with rapid time decay
