If you only look at the recent quarter to evaluate R&D, did you believe earlier in the year that the EXTRA investment in R&D was a positive? If the trend continues, I would agree with you. But this quarter/year dont substantiate the opinion that there are machete type cuts. In any case, it is the marketability of the products and not the $ spent that is the true evaluation of R&D. Watch the "Shay" product to see if they know how to deliver what the market wants ...
