Will answer the rest later but best drink to make with Vodka - have not worked that out. The world would seem to think that CIS is awash witht eh stuff. Truth is quite different - I have seen foreigners very drunk on Vodka but the locals really seem to know when they have had enough. I quite like vodka- icy cold and taken in absolute moderation - great with caviar and bread on a very cold day. I would have thought that vodka-caviar and bread at a ice hockey game would be heaven - if the right team won of course!! Our staff drink in moderation and out joint venture partners seem not to drink at all - so much for the myth. Drink water it looks much the same and is better for you.
