I appreciate the tone that this thread is taking. Maybe we can leave the personal attacks and jibberish for other threads.

Let me start by saying I am bullish on Dell over the short term and VERY bullish on Dell over the long term. I welcome any public debate on any issues that lead anyone to be concerned about the future of the stock (I hope everyone will spare the "it's going down because it went up" argument) and instead present something with a bit more substance.

If anyone would like to present the top three reasons they are bearish I would be glad to respond to those and present my top three reasons I am bullish!!!!

With all that said, I was dissapointed to see your post concerning insider trading. IF you are posting this as FYI only then great.

If you are implying that this transaction points to any lack of confidence in Dell stock by company execs, then I would seriously challenge that and ask you to consider the following two points

1) Dell Corp continues to buy back around $300MM of their own shares each quarter. They have bought back well over $1BB of their own shares over the last year. Although they are playing with their shreholders money, Dell has proven to be very shareholder focused over the years and don't think they would spend our money on anything other than what they thought was a solid invesment

2) from the post re: the insider trading, one could assume that this guy traded 20% or so of his total holdings. Don;t forget that he most likely has unexcercised options for 10 to 20 times this amount so this trade is probably quite small and is common for many tech execs that must balance their porfolio

Again if this was FYI then great. if however you were suggesting some sort of lack of confidence on part of dell execs, I think you are WAY off base
