Realignments and shifting alliances are occurring in the strangest ways. Would you believe an alliance between the NASDAQ and the AMEX?

Returning to the Middle East, the conservative government of Turkey intends to accelerate the privatization of government businesses. This philosophy may bode well for Manova's plans to operate their own waste oil processing business. Unfortunately, this article doesn't mention that specifically, it is only about privatizations while Manova's prospective enterprise with GRNO is brand new.

The efforts of Greece to strike up a defense agreement with Azerbaijan is interesting and if they are successful in coming to some sort of agreement, it would be truly remarkable. Azerbaijan and Turkey are Turkic speaking Muslim countries while Armenia and Greece are Christian with their own Orthodox churches. The agreement, if it occurs, would bridge the culture club gap, and would further isolate Turkey politically. Greece's current success with Russia and Syria is also important, and Syria has been aligned with Iran in the past. I hope all this is not lost on Washington and that they begin to lay down the law to Turkey and Israel that mindless hatred is not a good basis for progress. So far the USA is coming out the loser in the game of world power.
