Tom, I've been rolling around the 5 bucks
a game for OEM games. We have 2 full versions
being released with the hottest product at
the moment. TDFX can't make the chips fast
enough at the moment to keep up with the demand.
The big companys like Diamond,Creative,Micron,
probably had to buy huge amounts of chips so
they could be first with the boards. As far as
Orchid goes, they included BZ for marketing reasons.
Alot of people will base their buying decision on the game
bundle, i know i'm thinking about the Orchid now just
for Battlezone alone.
As far as releasing all these games now, something
is defintely up. Either Kotic is going to buy another
company for their titles to get them through the rest
of the year,or ATVI is going to be bought, or ATVI
is going to merge with somebody private. These are the
only reasons that make sense to me. The company has
always had a steady stream of titles for each Qtr. Why
the change in strategy. I guess like all things time will
tell.<G>
If we get the correction that is long overdue, i'd buy
more TDFX stock.Alot of people were expecting to get it
in the low 20's after the secondary, it never happened,
so i'm sure they are still looking for an entry point.
This is going to be a killer year for the company,if it
dips buy it.
I see you enjoy the GTIS thread to. I've been reading
it since Scott showed up. The guy is totally amazing, i'll
never buy another GTIS title again. Not even Freddie Fish for
the kids.
