BURBANK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 12, 1998--B.A.T. International (OTC:BAAT) is having an open house and technical display of BAT vehicle and technology developments.
The open house will display a portfolio of vehicles and technologies that B.A.T. International and its subsidiaries have to offer now and in the future. The event is scheduled as follows:
WHERE: CALSTART Building 3601 Empire Ave. Burbank, Calif. (just south of airport) WHEN: Saturday, April 18 11 a.m.
Invitations are being sent out to all shareholders, media representatives, government officials and interested parties. (These include a special invitation to Elliot Blair Smith of USA Today and Lynn N. Duke of the Stock Detective, who seem to have a special interest in B.A.T.)
Numerous people have confirmed they will be attending, including Academy Award-winning actor, Ernest Borgnine. The open house will be fully catered. Because attendance is limited to 500, an RSVP is required by April 18.

Magnum Sports Car: Sports car production chassis and Dolphin Pulse Charged power engine
CNG Mini-car: Two seat vehicle powered by natural gas Dolphin Pulse Charged engine
Clean World Car: Two models of electric vehicles being delivered to Barbados
Zinc Air Mini-Van: Mini-van with zinc air batteries that set cold weather EV range record (478 miles)
Zinc Air Asian Taxi: Four passenger vehicle with zinc air batteries set EV range record (1,043 miles)
Electric Bike: Electric bicycle with zinc air batteries that set range record (448 miles)
Bikes/Scooters: Samples and technical displays of next generation electric bikes and scooters
Power Generation: Technical displays and Dolphin Pulse Charged engines for electric power generation
NiMH Batteries: Technical displays of UFBC battery production plans and battery technology
B.A.T. will also unveil two new revolutionary vehicles at the open house. Joe LaStella and various management and engineering staff from B.A.T. will be at the event to answer questions.
