the company you are with is trying to milk a few more bucks from you. if you put in a bid at .53 and the market is .50-.55 that will call around with a .51 bid. once they buy it at .51 they will reprint it and sell it to you at .53 and pocket 200 dollars. either that or they are just sleeping at the switch. you can always buy stock in the middle, but you can rarely sell it there. phone your broker and tell them to call taurus first, they will usually be more flexible than the latimers and ct sec.
