TO THE THREAD: FLASH! Is the sky falling?

Nope! It's not. The following is from Aware IR.

Mr. Bender has a large number of unexercised stock options, which he can
only exercise and sell subject to a number of limitations.
Occasionally, he exercises and sells 5% - 9% of his option position when
he believes that the timing is fair to shareholders and himself. His
selling is routine, represents only a fraction of his holdings, and
should not be interpreted as a sign of anything other than prudent
personal portfolio diversification. Mr. Bender remains optimistic about
Aware's future prospects. Given his still large number of unexercised
stock options he remains highly motivated to see the company succeed.
Thanks for asking.

With the help of Tim, last night I read the AWRE SEC filings...they confirm the above from IR, and they show the amount of shares being sold by Bender to be a small portion of his total share holdings.

Now here's something to worry about...the company paid $40,000 for Bender's country club fees. <G>
