The "domino effect" idea makes some sense--effectively a self-fulfilling prophecy (people believe that support levels are meaningful _for the circumstances in question,_ and thus they are.) But with so many competing theories of technical analysis, and people using different indicators and attaching different significance to them, with no real stretches of time to have solidified particular "support levels," and all this being complicated by the special fundamental situation of the kind facing THQI...I'm still hard pressed to see this as not being swamped by other (non-fundamental) forces. Apologies to the thread if this sounds like a distracting sidebar on technical analysis from a novice. :) Ooops, there it goes to 22...
