These interim reviews and reports that you mention are not normally reportable events. That is, there is no public release of data unless a change in trial protocol is required (as happened in the ACTION II trial which we *don't* want to see repeated!). So, the next data we'll likely see is the ACTION I results - ALTN says 4Q98, I'll guess November.

Regarding other milestones, ALTN will have a presence at the upcoming ADA meeting (June 13-16). I haven't seen any abstracts, but they plan to present a paper on their AGE crosslink breaker work. These compounds should enter preclinical safety testing later this year.

I don't believe ALTN/GNE have plans to initiate any new clinical trials before ACTION I results are known. But assuming positive results, I would anticipate a flurry of activity shortly after.
