I am talking about this recently hyped device with friends here and one question surged from our discussion.

Can Apple alone rightly and broadly sells and markets this new device if it's really what the rumors say it is?

And as subquestions:
Could and should Apple license the right to manufacture the device to somebody like Sony? They do have an interest in selling DVD devices, so maybe they could get interested to attach it to "www" hype.

I don't have a clue but I'm really asking if it would be a good or bad move for Apple to do this.
