I DO NOT wear panties with the days of the week on them. I am a European Sophisticate. I ABHOR clothing with stuff written on it.

I abhor all things, except books and magazines, with stuff written on them. Is it presumed by the manufacturers of these objects that we don't know what they're FOR? Or that, for example, your new dishes must ONLY be used for spaghetti?

A friend of mine once proposed a really fancy dinner service, Limoges, perhaps, with the plates divided into sections on which would be inscribed: "Pois", "Tournedos Rossini", "Pommes de terre Duchesse", and the like...
