Let me clarify my statement on IOMG moving to the NYSE. Iomega will not go down solely because of this move, for that would be impossible. However, if they envision slower growth (or growth below future expectations) they probably feel that the NYSE is a safer place to be. As it is earnings estimates for the fiscal year ended 12/97 have been lowered by $0.15 over the past month to $0.80. Growth is not going to be meet past expectations. Thus the move to the NYSE (safety?). You have to admit, that the fact that JLG Industries, AOL, and Bay Networks all moved to the NYSE right after the their stocks got battered (and that their prospects continued to decline once they moved) is more than a coincidence. And, by the way, I would feel comfortable shorting the stock today.
