Celso:
Re Dell options.
My preference for Dell options would be :
Jan 1999 75 at $8 to 9
Aug 70 at $7 or 75 at 5 1/2
May 70 at $ 3 1/2
I would buy at least two of the aug or may, then sell 1/2
of them when and if it has doubled in price.
The May is somewhat more risky, I have lost a few short term
ones like that, but never lost on anything over 4 months out
so am keeping fingers crossed.
It looks like Dell May earnings will come out just after May
options expiration, would rather have it the other way around.
Hpeace and William can tell you the risks involved.
If you have not dealt in options, be well prepared to write
them off, they can go down by 60 % in a day or so. Or
conversely they can appreciate by the same amount.
If you use quote.com you can enter the option symbol
(like the May 70 is dlqan) and see how it varies in price
versus time.
