GM and Kid,
Maybe it is indicating that the funds are taking a wait and see
approach, along with investors, if AMAT pre-warns, you will see
a dramatic increase in transactions as the stampede moves downhill.
Right now, IMO, the quantity of transactions is just the bulls
milling around in the pen and day traders playing the $1.50-$2
spreads. There is no compelling reason to buy at these prices and
higher, everyone is waiting for the better deal to come. Lack of
trading fervor is a negative for the stock at this price.
