I talked to the investor relations person at SPRX yesterday. They're now manufacturing the BiliCheck in their plant for actual distribution at the end of this quarter. He said they expect their partner in the US (Roche) will apply for a 510k sometime in the second quarter of this year. He's sending me a list of their distributor agreements. Apparently they'll begin selling throughout the EU as well as Japan and South America. I'm interested to see how they do in South America. If they sell well there, it's a good sign as to the price competitiveness of the BiliCheck vs. invasive testing. Naturally he wouldn't divulge the transfer pricing schemes with me, but an average price will be apparent from the financials (at the latest 98Q2, I trust). I also asked him to send me results of clinical tests, which he's promised to do. Looking good, though. Any (hopefully civil) comments?
