Do you know what we've overlooked here? It's the fact that if CPQ, HWP and IBM and presumably Packard Bell (NEC) have inventory problems then all of the parts suppliers, like Intel and Western Digital will likely respond by cutting prices because the demand they see will be lower.

Any guess which company is poised to take advantage of the lower prices, and which companies cannot???
