This is something someone else might want to check into:

I don't follow MDCO, but I listened to a CC several months ago were MDCO said most of their contracts were well to well. The idea was that if dayrates continue to move up they would make out big time, but now i think that it might also be true that if things do start to slow in the gulf, they would get hit first.

Other than that (which might not even be true anymore), they have been the NazMoMoBuyOut driller since before i owned any stocks. Hey, it might happen someday. They are cheap compare to asset value: if i had the money i would buy all their rigs tomorrow.

Teddy's Note: i do not own MDCO stock. I'm not trying to put down the company: if i did own the stock i would not sell at today's price. I wouldn't sell any offshore driller at today's prices. Then again, i don't do margin or options .... yet.

**OT** to 007: if you do leave the country with one of the women from this thread, you better make sure they check in from time to time. I wouldn't want to have to make a phone call.

Of course, if your holding period is more than 15 days, you would buy NE.
