Until then, here's a story of mine-- Microsoft: Several months ago, when a Barron's cover story trashed the stock, Brinker recommended to worried callers that they continue to hold the stock; he expected it to be significantly higher within a year. Someone who had panicked and sold would have gotten out in the low 60's. Then, two weekends ago was the first time I have heard Brinker advise someone with more than 4% of their equity portfolio in Microsoft, to sell any quantities held over that 4%. The very next trading day, Microsoft hit its all-time high of 86! Not bad timing. It paid big time to listen to the show.
