Steve, Eric, Scott, Paul, Jack, et al.. RE: Going Higher in MAIL!...
This post is killing (x) birds with one stone.
First, let me clarify a few things.
1. Jon Freeman is a grunt (and I mean that complimentary). He is one of the "good guys", at least in my opinion. And so is Dave Stevenson,
and some of the "other" folk from Novell who have sent me e-mail. They are as caught up in this as the rest of the community is. IMO, they don't deserve a "rap".
2. My postings were, in fact, meant to elicit this type of response. Why? Because, obviously, I am as frustrated as you are. But apparantly, the EXECs at Novell are not frustrated enough. Scott,
I agree that BF should've remained, no matter what rap he's taken in the press. At least to finish the job. Nuff' said on that. That page is turned.
3. I showed you all the e-mail, to prove, that ALL you are going to get from them is corporate-speak and bullshit.
4. Eric S. You have provided some "interesting" information with regard to who the major shareholders are (individuals and institutions).
Steve, Eric, whomever, WHATEVER YOU CAN FIND OUT WITH REGARD TO GETTING IN TOUCH WITH THESE PEOPLE TO INFORM THEM OF OUR DISSATISFACTION ---- PLEASE COUNT ME IN !. I will do/send whatever I can to get the message across.
Go back in this thread and count the number of times I have said to various Novell folk here ... "you don't have time", "wake up guys",
"better get moving", etc. etc. And now we are coming down the stretch a day late and a dollar short.
Eric/Steve - You guys are right. The next step will be to get the MAJOR holders of this company to start "squeezing NOVELL's balls", and
I mean till they are squeezed dry!!!!
It's crystal clear to me now, that these guys don't want to, or don't
know HOW to play HARDBALL. Well, they better find someone quick that knows how to play the game. This game needs to be played IMMEDIATELY!
I also said in a prior post, there are LOTS of legal beagles out there just drooling to do "class action lawsuits". That's another approach.
I mean, they ARE screwing with OUR money, aren't they?
Scott, I'm with you, "Marengi the Hun" isn't showing me shit! If he had any BALLS, he'd step up to the plate, and BUST "MY" BALLS for writing this shit about him here. And HE WOULD DO IT HERE. But my money says you'll NEVER see it! Why?, because he's out to protect his career, etc.. etc.. I mean he's only 43, what the hell does he care!
I've seen at least a dozen of these type of guys in the corporate America scene. They don't give a damn about you, just thier careers.
How bout' it Mr. "Hun", you got the BALLS to get into the FRAY? You WANTED this job, you GOT it! What do you think, you're gonna get this job and NOT take any HEAT or what? That's why you get your big salary.

WHY AREN'T YOU KISSING THE TRADE RAGS AND WALL STREET ANALYSTS ASSES RIGHT NOW LIKE GATES IS??? THAT'S WHAT I WANT TO KNOW! DO YOU THINK BECAUSE YOU PRINT AN ADV. AND SAY OOOOOHHHH LOOK WE GOT INTRANETWARE, AND NDS, AND BLAH, BLAH, WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING ELSE, THE ENTERPRISE WILL JUST SWOON AND FALL OVER IN AWE AND BRING OUT THIER CHECKBOOKS?
