yosi s, with complete respect for your opinion, I must disagree. I would dearly love to believe that a 3% pop in the overnight averages is meaningful but against an 8 year recession with a complete lack of evidence of any leadership or recognition of the crisis--how can you justify your position? The facts are that we have seen a steady stream of ever higher ranking officials marched off to the slammer culminating (or at least I hope it is a culmination) with today's lovely news of Mr. Yoshizawa of the CENTRAL BANK being arrested on bribery charges. The ill effects of the lesser lights of SEA are dangerous enough--but Japan is the 2nd largest economy in the world. The refusal or inability to deal with it is potentially disastrous. Tell me, please, what is your basis for optimism? Mike Doyle
