Hi Valueman: I notice you got really excited by Viasat's PCMA technology. It is a clever idea which is amazingly similar to the method used to remove echoes created by hybrids in phone lines. The one question I have is how would VSAT protect this patent? If you implement a signal cancellation scheme, I can easily devise another scheme that would work just as well. Because I am not a patent expert, I am wondering how broad can VSAT make its patent claim? If they can block PCMA implementation in any form by any other competitor, it should be an immediate strong buy, as you astutely noticed. Best regards, Bernard Levy
