Mathon, << come now, get real, for money, in America! -- OT >> Do you really believe us Yanks would do anything just for money?:-) I remember standing in those lines. Sure glad it didn't last long. I know it made a buck a gallon sound real good after a month or so. Wasn't it a win, win for all? I was young and naive enough to think the world was running out of oil. The biggest drawback I saw was when it was over, we were driving Japanese imports getting all that gas mileage. Muscle cars, gone for years. Life was hardly worth living. How could you impress a chick in a Toyota!!! Speculating on the surplus, I wonder if it's not to get the price down in Asia. I remember $3.50 - $4.00 years ago. What do you think? Could be we're tired of seeing all those Mercedes zooming across the desert, checking out those wells. :-) Larry
