OT: UNT/NYC

Actually, the transfer from UNT to NYC isn't as drastic as say if one came from A&M. There are big differences in philosophies between the 2 schools. UNT has the nation's 2nd largest Music School. Its Art department is also big. The population percentage there is also more female than your average University. So, as a result UNT tends to be more liberal politically, and more diversified in attitude and lifestyle.

If I had hangups about being around different people, then I moved to the wrong place, and am in the wrong business. If you want to be big in Advertising, architecture and interior design, music, art, or other artistic careers, there are 2 places in America you need to be. San Fran, and NYC.

But rest assured, the move to NYC was still a shock coming from Suburban Texas.
