It is my experience that none of the pirates I know, like JC Wiggy, DSGumby, Lee the Hick, King Druss, Tackicrab, nor even his chessness, Mitchie, would bear any resemblance to that description.
If nothing else works I recommend residing in a cardboard box with plenty of TBird for company - it helps keep the mind pure.
