Sorry, I haven't been actively following SALT for some time, though I do watch out of the corner of my eye.

In my opinion, the company could have done a lot better. They were poised for more significant growth than they have posted. K-Mart has done very well lately, but SALT does not seem to be riding that wave.

I sold back in October at about 9 1/2, now waiting for better times.

Technially the stock looks like it might be under accumulation. Volume has dried up but there is plenty of support between 8-9. If they continue to post solid growth, there is a good chance of an upside breakout.

I don't think the latest 144s are very significant. At the end of 1997 the selling was probably related to locking in profits before the end of the year. I would like to see some insider buying or stock buyback plan to provide some evidence that the company is confident about their growth.
