Here's something on the N Korean mobilization. South Korea looked like more of prize last year than now. However, the N. Koreans have been in famine for 2 years so anything is possible. They may be mobilizing to put down their own internal troubles.

However if China invades Taiwan while N Korea invades the South, you just eliminated a lot of the competition for China and the need to devalue. Remember China has on many occasions wanted to take Taiwan back and is still very friendly with N Korea.
